I didn’t grow up thinking I could be an author. In fact, I don’t even remember meeting one as a kid. What I do remember is my school librarian, who filled a bathtub with pillows and blankets, creating the perfect reading nook where I fell in love with stories. At home, I’d dry out my own tub, fill it with blankets, and lose myself in books for hours.

Fast forward to today, and I’m doing what I never dreamed was possible back then—writing award-winning books, sharing stories that matter, and inspiring the next generation of readers and dreamers through author visits, workshops, and programs.

But my passion doesn’t stop there. I’ve made it my mission to help authors like YOU create meaningful, impactful books for kids. Here’s what I know for sure: creativity changes lives. Whether it’s through writing a book, teaching about resilience, or leading others to step into their own bold stories, storytelling has been the heart of everything I do.

Is this editing or co-writing?
No. This is not line editing or co-writing. Coaching focuses on structure, clarity, direction, and decision-making, along with feedback to help you strengthen your manuscript and keep moving forward to a complete draft. We do offer editing and publishing services once your book is complete, should you want that support.
I’m very early in the process—can this still help?
Yes. Whether you’re starting with an idea, a partial draft, or a stalled manuscript, coaching meets you where you are and helps you move to the next clear step.
How are the 6 sessions structured?
Sessions are typically scheduled monthly and are guided by your goals and progress. Each session includes reflection, focused feedback, and clear next steps so you always know what to work on next. All of that said... my clients lead the way! If you want it more or less often, we customize to meet your needs.
What makes this different from a course?
Courses give information. Coaching gives personalized guidance, feedback, and real-time support. This experience is responsive to you and your book, not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
